The new Ford Focus is redesigned and comes in 4-door sedan and 4-door hatchback body styles in S, SE, SEL, and Titanium trim levels. The 2-door coupe has been discontinued.

The 2012 Focus has a new 155-horsepower 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and will run on gasoline or E85 ethanol-blended fuel. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual or a new 6-speed dual-clutch automated manual that behaves much like an automatic.

For 2012, the Ford Focus will be E85 capable.

Safety Features Of The New 2011 Ford Focus

Safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, curtain-side airbags, and front-side airbags.

Available features include Ford’s MyKey, MyFord, and MyFord Touch systems. MyKey allows owners to program a key that can limit the vehicle’s top speed and audio volume and setting a speed chime to activate at speeds of 45, 55 or 65 mph.

Front, front-side, and canopy airbags keep all the passenger noggins intact, while traction and stability control and antilock brakes help the driver avoid accidents.. MyFord, the company’s new infotainment system, allows the driver to personalize the vehicle’s displays and settings.

It uses Ford’s Sync voice-activated control interface for cell phones, audio, climate, and navigation systems. MyFord Touch adds a touch screen in the central control panel to govern its functions. Also available are keyless entry/engine start, a rearview camera, and a hands-free parallel-parking system “my wife is goig to love’ this one”..  !Best!  When properly equipped, the car can also act as a wireless hotspot.

It also counts with Grade A sport suspension and 17-inch wheels are standard on Titanium. We have not yet tested the 2012 Ford Focus. In addition, the Power Focus also provides a system of economic burden that can recharge the battery for the best electricity rates.
